You are cordially invited to join a webinar, organised by the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, on 20 September 2021 (Monday), 3pm to 4:30pm (Vietnam time). Entitled “Revival under the ‘New Normalcy’: Hong Kong – Viet Nam Partnership”, government and business leaders from the two places will share their insights on opportunities in trade and investment. The webinar will be a useful occasion for enterprises, manufacturers, professional services and startups to seek out collaboration in ASEAN and the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area markets.
Distinguished speakers have been invited to give remarks at the webinar. They include the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Mr Edward Yau; Deputy Minister, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Mr Tran Quoc Khanh; and Consul General of the S.R. of Vietnam in the Hong Kong SAR, Mr Pham Binh Dam.
There will also be a panel discussion featuring leaders from enterprises and business associations in Hong Kong and Viet Nam, such as the Executive Director and Vice President of Sunwah Group, Mr. Johnson Choi; as well as representatives from the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), Smart City Consortium, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. The panel discussion will be moderated by the Commissioner for Belt and Road of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Dr. Denis Yip.
The webinar is co-organised by the Consulate General of the S.R. of Viet Nam in the Hong Kong SAR, the HKETO in Singapore, the HKTDC and the FHKI, and is supported by Hong Kong – Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, which is founded and chaired by Chairman of Sunwah Group (Hong Kong), Dr. Jonathan Choi.
