Sunwah – On the morning of 15 April 2021, the “Motivation and Willpower” workshop, under EMpower Program, was organized at Sunwah Innovation Center Ho Chi Minh City, in cooperation with Zone Startups Vietnam, Swiss EP and SmartR. The workshop attracted the attendance of around 50 people joining physically and virtually.
Keynote speaker for the workshop is Mr Thijs van Loon, Founder and CEO of Betterworks Asia. With over 15 years of experience as a Mentor Trainer in well-known companies such as Google and Apple, Mr Thjs van Loon has been providing professionals in 60 countries with the newest skills in Sales, Communication, Team Management and many more.

The “Motivation and Willpower” workshop had many interactive activities for the attendees to better understand themselves and understand how the surrounding environment affects their behaviors thus help them identify their own sources of motivation in life and make good use of them. Mr Thijs also shared and provided tools on how to build up willpower over time; how to set clear goals, plans and follow; and how to overcome failures or challenges.

Launched 25 March 2021, EMpower Program is a free four-week accelerator designed to support early-stage tech-based female entrepreneurs. The program also provides female entrepreneurs the access to the community of inspirational female leaders, seed funds, other resources and services to help the startups scale up fast. The Program is organized by Zone Startups Vietnam, in partnership with Swiss EP and Sunwah Innovations, a member of Sunwah Group.
