Sunwah Innovations is honored to call for applications for Elevator Pitch Competition 2021 – the perfect opportunity for Vietnamese tech startups to expand their business to Asia market.
Elevator Pitch Competition (EPiC) is an annual startup event by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP). This year, startups from many countries will have the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of professional investors and tech experts. The champion will receive up to USD 200,000. Due to Covid-19, overseas startups will join all activities of EPiC 2021 virtually. All events and activities are in English.
Sunwah Innovations has been the Global Partner of HKSTP since 2018 and has nominated 8 Vietnamese startups to join the Top 100 Finalist of EPiC. Before 2020, Sunwah Innovations also sponsored Vietnamese startups to go to Hong Kong to join all activities of EPiC including training and networking events with many investors and startups from all over the world. Notably, startup CYFEER was one of the Top 10 Finalists in EPiC 2018 and receive many benefits after the Competition.
This year, Sunwah Innovations will nominate 02 Vietnamese startups to join the Top 100 Finalists of EPiC 2021. Top 100 Finalists will have the following benefits:
- Virtual Pitching in 60 second in front of the judge panel
- The chance to enter Top 10 Finalists and receive cash prize of up to USD 200,000 (and many other prizes)
- Participate in the Global Matching (second edition in 2021) and have 1:1 matching session with potential buyers and investors.
- Participate in investment events during the Competition.
Sunwah Innovations will nominate and review startups based on “first come, first serve” basis. Startups not in the nomination lists will still be reviewed by HKSTP to join the Top 100 Finalists.
EPiC 2021 focuses on 4 tech categories:
- Green Tech & Construction Tech
- FinTech
- Health Technology
- Smart City

(during submission, at the “How did you learn about Elevator Pitch Competition?”, please choose “Others” and fill in “Sunwah Innovations”
- End September 2021: Announce Top 100 Finalists
- 5 November 2021: Top 10 Finalists will attend the Finale and introduce their projects in 60 seconds
- 8 to 11 November 2021: Global Matching event
- 12 November 2021: Investment Conference
