As a Media Partner, Sunwah Innovations is pleased to introduce the InnoCity Global Youth Initiative Program 2021. It’s an innovation program to bring together domestic and foreign Vietnamese intellectuals towards the vision of national renewal, fast, sustainable, and powerful development. InnoCity Global Youth Initiative Program – National Innovation Rising Star Award is officially sponsored by the National Innovation Center NIC (Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam) and organized by the Alliance of National Innovation Associations. Vietnamese youth students across Europe with the cooperation and companionship from ministries, branches, agencies, organizations, and Vietnamese communities in more than 16 countries.
1. Background
In the context of the pandemic causing many impacts on the economy, society, and people’s lives nationwide, InnoCity seeks Vietnamese initiatives in the following key areas: Health – Health; Transportation; Energy – Environment; Smart Cities – Information Technology; Smart education.
2. Who to join
All groups (2-5 people) or individuals who are Vietnamese intellectuals, regardless of size, age, or geographical location can participate in the program.
3. Registration format
– By individuals or groups of 2-5 people
– The initiative is divided into two panels: Young Vietnam Initiatives (for students) and Vietnam Initiatives (for the rest)
– Mode of participation: hybrid
4. How to join
🔥 Phase 1: 15/10/2021| Online project submission
– Submit an online proposal (up to 3000 words) including a description of the initiative and its formation, the target audience and how to apply the initiative in practice, etc. Proposals are encouraged to include relevant models/documents/photos
– Projects and related documents should be placed in a Google Drive folder and open access for the program innocity.application@gmail.com
– Folder name set according to the form [Name of group/individual][Name of the initiative]

Selected delegates will be announced from October 25 to October 30 for each category.
🔥 Phase 2: Week 2 or 3 of November 2021 | Official delegates to participate in the InnoCity Summit 2021, which will take place in Paris – France, Hanoi – Vietnam and combine online at many bridge points in many countries. Delegates directly present the project, dialogue, exchange, and discuss with typical young Vietnamese intellectuals globally, leading experts, government leaders, and domestic and foreign investment funds.
🔥 Phase 3: December 2021 | Awarding Vietnam
Innovation Rising Star Award for the best five projects in each category & Young Innovation Rising Star Award for the best student project.
5. Prizes
Becoming the 100 best individuals/project groups to officially attend InnoCity Summit, candidates will have the opportunity to:
🎖 Received the Innovation Rising Star Award awarded by the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam with the total value of cash, in-kind and support packages for facilities, research, and development, communication packages, commitment packages investment support up to 500,000,000 – 700,000,000 VND.
🎖 05 best projects directly participated in the Face-to-face Meeting with the leaders of the Ministry to present and propose to apply in Vietnam as well as international cooperation opportunities.
🎖 Directly dialogue, exchange, and present projects with typical young Vietnamese intellectuals globally, leading experts, government leaders, and domestic and foreign investment funds.
